Worst textbook I have read.

Do not buy Terry Flew's book 'new media'. Despite being unable to capitalize his name and the title of his book, he is needlessly and overly wordy to the point of drawing out a simple concept for over a page. Other explanations within the text are vague and glanced over and his use of, and the subsequent lack of reference to tables within the text is frustrating beyond description. If you're looking for a book which shows how to ramble obscurities for 300 pages, or are interested in a text where the author cites himself to support ideas, (as if the reader will not notice) by all means buy this book. If, however, you wish to learn about the topic of new media, try Wikipedia. It is in my opinion FAR more helpful.
